Coming to a Close

Well, our final week is coming to a close. Before I get into the important things, I'll give you a short update on our afternoon adventures. Here in Lisburn, we take our field trips between the morning Holiday Bible Club at Balinderry and the evening Holiday Bible Club at Maze. On Monday, we crossed the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and had lunch on the other side. On our drive there, we had a clear view of a shadow on the horizon which, Gregg informed us, was Scotland. From there we went to Giants Causeway and wandered about the octagon shaped rocks. On Tuesday, our adventure was simply a shopping trip to an outlet mall. Wednesday, we went to meet the Lord Mayor of Lisburn and shopped in the city. Today, we went to the Somme Heritage Center, which was a museum tour documenting the role of the Ulster Irish in World War One. Tomorrow, we're going to Belfast for shopping and then on Saturday, we're leaving Northern Ireland for Dublin in the Republic. The long and short of that is that in three days time, we will all be in the U.S.A once more.

Please pray for our team during these last few days; the majority of us have had colds, sore throats, stuffy noses and sinuses. These next few days in the Holiday Bible Club are crucial because they are the last chances we have to share the Gospel with the children before we head home. We've all made connections with at least one child. Please pray that we will all be healthy enough tomorrow, our last day of Holiday Bible Club, so that we can effectively minister to the children. Also, tomorrow is our July 4th Celebration. The parents of the children are coming back into the HBC at Maze during the last 15 minutes to get a glimpse of what we have been doing with their children this week. It is our hope that parents who do not know the Lord will be ministered to during this time and that not only children, but parents as well will be entered into the Kingdom.

Thanks again for all your prayers, and we'll see you soon!
