Good afternoon! As you probably know, this is our third day in Northern Ireland. When we landed in Dublin it was raining and has just cleared up today. No matter the weather, we're looking forward to the adventures ahead. Hopefully you'll stick with us.
The people here at Craigavon Presbyterian Church are wonderful; all those here who have opened up their homes for us are so hospitible. Although we have only been here for a short amount of time, they have us feeling right at home.
This morning we traveled to three Primary Schools (Elementary) and promoted the Holiday Bible Club that is beginning tonight. The children gathered in the gym and we did a short presentation. Chad led the kids in a song and those who knew the hand-motions to the song helped teach them. The dancers performed 2-3 dances at each school. Gregg and Andy alternated talking to the kids about the difference between Ireland and the U.S. Then we had a small lunch at the church and went off to a Secandary School (High School) to promote Summer Scheme. We did things differently at this school; Chad played some of the songs he has written and Andy shared a short testimony. Then we went back to the church and began setting up for the Holiday Bible Club.
Now we are simply waiting for the kids to arrive. Well, that should hold you over until the next entry!
Thanks for your prayer and support, we greatly appreciate it.
